Following pickup from your Denali-area lodging, you'll head directly to Healy River State Airport. Here, meet your guide and board your plane for a 1.5-hour aerial tour that brings you within close proximity to the 20,237-foot-tall (6168 meters) Denali — North America’s highest peak.

Sit back as your plane climbs along the spine of the Alaskan Range above Denali National Park, taking in views of the massive Muldrow Glacier and the near-vertical Wickersham Wall on Denali’s north face. Marvel at braided rivers, glacier-carved valleys, and vast alpine tundra as you go. 

Weather permitting, your aerial tour will return by way of the Stampede Trail and offer amazing views of the Magic Bus, made famous by both the book and movie, Into the Wild.

You'll cover nearly 200 miles of wilderness before being returned to your Denali-area hotel.

Take off times are customized to your schedule, departures are in the late afternoon and evenings. Spend an evening at the Chena Hot Springs Resort, departing from Denali National Park, with this convenient 4.5-hour package. Begin with pickup from select Denali-area hotels to Healy River State Airport between 4pm and 4:30pm for your 5pm flight. Once onboard, let the Alaskan Bush pilots do the work as you sit back and enjoy the approximately 75-minute interactive journey, utilizing voice-activated headsets and taking in stunning aerial views through the plane’s large windows.

Arrive on a private airstrip for your 2-hour visit to China Hot Spring Resort. Soak in the “Rock Lake” hot spring, saddle up to the ice castle’s ice bar for a frosty adult beverage, tour the Aurora Ice Museum, or settle in for a leisurely dinner. All activities and purchases are at your own expense.

During this 2 Hour whitewater adventure expect to encounter over 10 major Class III to IV rapids in the Nenana River Canyon! The Denali National Park frontier will be the setting on your river left shore with Mt. Healy rising over 3,000 feet to the summit. Exciting wave-trains and powerful hydraulics will create rapids like “Razorback,” “Iceworm,” “Cable Car,” “Royal Flush,” and “Coffee Grinder!”
